Jenna Fischer was best known for her portrayal of Pam Beesly (the character of The Office) in the television show. This role brought her an Emmy nod for the Best Supporting Actress category. She also received two SAG Awards, both for outstanding performances by the cast of a comedy.
Her birthplace was Fort Wayne, Indiana, but her family was primarily from St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna was awed by her mother, Anne, perform in church plays when she was younger, which instilled a love of performing and theater.
