Nadia and Carol
Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12 November 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to score a 10 for competing in the Olympics. Bela Karolyi later Romanian Gymnastics Coach, came across Comaneci when she was just 6 years old. Her first competition was at the national junior championships in 1969, finishing 13th. She was the winner in 1970. In her very first international contest in 1972, she won the event having won three golds. When she competed for the first time in senior level, Lyudmila Turkishcheva from Russia took home five gold medals aswell as one silver. The first female to complete a reverse double salo on the bar with a parallel surface when she won the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career began in entertainment as a teenager in which she was a part of a figure skating duo with her sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a United States citizen, born on the 6th of September 1942, in Chicago Illinois. Carol ventured into the entertainment business in her teens. She began her professional career by performing figure skating alongside Nina Wayne, her younger sister in one of the touring entertainment shows Ice Capades. The shows featured theatrical ice-skating performances.
