She was born on 29 March 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michelle is her first name. Gerina Stevenson was born in Mexico to Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. She is Mexican heritage, but is American in nationality. Gerina has always been a sports enthusiast. Gerina began golfing when she was fifteen years old. Gerina attended Goddard High School. When she was a student in high school she won the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. She also had her volleyball skills recognized at the national level. Her first college was in the University of Texas. She took home all the tournaments she played in during her final years. Through her college years she won her Conference USA Player of The Award and the Female UTEP Sports Athlete Award.
