Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her lead roles in numerous television shows, but also her impressive performances in film. Both Canadian and American Television are avid fans of Emily VanCamp. Emily's interest in acting began at the age of 12 when she was visiting their sister Katie who was filming one of Katie's films. Once she discovered her passion for acting, she began to take classes in acting and going to auditions. Her first audition was for commercials and was soon cast as a child actor on the Canadian television show, Are You afraid of the dark? which featured her in a single scene with any dialog. The WB TV show Glory Days, she received her first break in the industry when she was just 15 years old. Emily's performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek's Greg Berlanti, who then made her a part of his television show Everwood. Emily has also been a dancer, a photographer and was named as among the top 20 Teen's actresses. The Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
